How to Wishlist LEGO Skylines
Four stores, one newsletter, no pre-order — the practical page while the date is still TBA.
LEGO Skylines is in the wishlist window. That is the entire current “how to get” guide. There is no demo. There is no pre-order. Paradox’s FAQ says they will tell you when pre-orders open. Until then, the correct action is to save the game on the store you will actually launch, and optionally sign up for the newsletter that currently promises an Ice Tower for your future skyline.
This page is the click path. The platforms tool is the same information as a picker. Use either.
Steam (PC)
Open the Steam store page for LEGO Skylines while signed in. Use Wishlist. Follow the game if you want news in the Steam client. App ID is 1573550. Steam currently lists Coming soon, Iceflake Studios as developer, Paradox Interactive as publisher, and Simulation as genre. Steam Deck compatibility is unknown. Do not buy keys from a third-party site that claims a “LEGO Skylines CD key” — there is nothing to redeem.
PlayStation 5
Wishlist from the PlayStation store concept page (concept 10015766) or the official hub at legoskylines.com. The PlayStation YouTube upload of the trailer is the same announcement clip, not extra gameplay. There is no PS4 version announced.
Xbox Series X|S
Use the Xbox store listing (product id 9NHHVNPGRQK5) and add to wishlist on a Series console or the Xbox app. No Xbox One version announced. Game Pass status is unannounced; do not assume it.
Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo of America pointed at a Switch 2 wishlist. Nintendo UK currently shows a 2027 year. That year is a store listing, not a Paradox date. Read the release date page before you set a calendar reminder. No original Switch version announced.
Newsletter and Ice Tower
Paradox is running a LEGO Skylines newsletter. The current carrot is the Ice Tower for your future skyline, plus news and sneak peeks. That is a cosmetic/building reward tied to marketing, not a loot box. If you want it, subscribe from the official site. If you do not want Paradox mail, skip it; the game will still run. More on rewards sits on DLC.
Community spaces worth following
Official: YouTube @LEGOskylinesgame, community feed, Bilibili. Fan-run: Discord and Reddit, which Paradox itself flags as community-moderated, not official support. All of those links are grouped on links.
How to not get scammed while you wait
- No codes. This is not a Roblox title.
- No Trello with leaked buildings that “must be real.”
- No paid “early access keys.”
- No last-gen store pages. If a listing says PS4 or Nintendo Switch (original), it is the wrong product or a stub.
When pre-orders open, this page will gain edition differences — if editions exist. DLC is planned as paid and free later; it is not a deluxe SKU today. For the game itself, wishlist, walk away, and spend the wait on how to play and the walkthrough so launch night has a plan.
After you click wishlist
A wishlist is not a purchase. It is a reminder that Paradox still owes you a date, a price, and a spec sheet. Check the news hub when a Steam notification fires instead of refreshing leak accounts. If Iceflake posts a diary, jump to how to build first; that is where customization claims will actually change. Keep one store selected so you do not split cloud saves that have not been promised. Then spend the wait on the city planner so launch night is a sequence, not a freeze in the build menu.

Short answers while LEGO Skylines is still in the wishlist window.
Can I pre-order LEGO Skylines?
Not yet. Paradox says they will announce pre-orders later. Wishlist instead via the platforms tool.

The one you will play. Cross-saves are unconfirmed. Switch 2 is real; original Switch is not announced.
What is the Ice Tower?
A newsletter reward for a future skyline. Not required. See DLC.
Is there a demo?
No demo has been announced. Gamescom had a LEGO booth; that is not a downloadable demo.
